Registration for Counselor In Training Summer Camp coming April 1st 2024!

This full day camp for teens is packed with activities such as weekly field trips & pool trips, certificated training opportunities, games and much more! Participants will have the opportunity to build their leadership skills while also having fun! This C.I.T camp will run Monday-Friday from 6:45am to 6:00pm with a daily base fee of $41.  Field trip sign-ups will be available for an additional fee and require a separate registration. Participants must be registered for both the summer camp day and the field trip.

First day of Summer Camp is June 10th 2024 .  

Please Be Advised - Registration closes at noon on the Friday prior to each week.*

Camp hours are 9:00am-4:30pm.  Early drop off beginning at 6:45am and late pick up until 6:00pm are available at no additional charge.

-How old do participants have to be to attend Summer Camp?

 C.I.T Camp is open to teens of age 11-14 years old

-How much are Summer Camp fees? Is there a weekly or sibling discount?

The daily base rate for summer camp is $41 a day. There is no weekly registration or sibling discount.. Field trip sign-ups will be available for an additional fee and require a separate registration. Participants must be registered for both the summer camp day and the field trip. 

-Can I sign up for half the day?

Parents or guardians can pick up at any time in the day but cannot register for just half the day. Fees are per day. 

-What is your Refund Policy?

Refunds for camp will only be granted if you notify the front desk staff (or request via the Amilia app) by the Thursday prior to the week that you are registered. Please note a $5 administration fee will apply.  No refunds will be granted past 5pm on Thursdays. No refunds will be granted at all for field trips. -How often do you go on field trips?

Field trips occur once a week starting the second week of camp. Field trip schedule can be found here

-Will there be weekly pool trips? Does my child have to know how to swim to sign up?

Yes we will offer some pool trips, to view dates/register click here. Teens from all site locations will have the option for weekly trips to the Rancho Simi Pool. Teens do not register for these pool trips for an additional fee. Teens must know how to swim no exceptions! Teens will be required to take a swim test upon arrival to the pool.

-What is the staff participant ratio?

Our ratios are 1:10/12 when on-site, and 1:8 on field trips, and 1:5 on water field trips. Each summer camp location has designated highly experienced Site Directors, Assistant Site Directors, and Recreation Counselors.

-Will food/snacks be provided?

We will offer an optional afternoon snack every day. On Fridays, Teens have the option of a special lunch for the day. Teens will be asked at the beginning of the week for lunch orders based on the lunch given for that Friday. 

-What kind of activities are planned?

At Rancho Simi Summer Camp, we offer nine (almost ten) fun filled, individually themed weeks packed with arts & crafts, indoor and outdoor games, songs, and activities for everyone! Children will participate in exhilarating group game activities such as obstacle courses, relay races, and team sports. We also offer a variety of craft activities that correspond with the weekly themes. Special activities such as pool trips and off-site field trips will also be offered.
