RATTLESNAKE AVOIDANCE TRAINING

Help protect your animals and sign up for training. Dogs must be on leash to participate in programs. Rattlesnake Avoidance Training 9:00 am – 6:00 pm Call Bruce Freeman (818) 707-3147 for appointment time and further instructions. Appointments start at 9:00 am. Fee: $75

Puppy Group Obedience and Manners Class

This is a 6 week long course for puppies between the ages of 8 weeks and 12 months of age that will teach you how to be a leader with your new puppy, extinguish unwanted behaviors (such as jumping, play biting, etc…), positively reinforce good behaviors and focus on the following obedience commands: Sit, Recall (formal and informal), heeling on a loose leash, Down, Sit Stay, Down Stay. Each week we will start with a brief Q & A session to address any issues that have occurred during the previous week. This is also a great opportunity to properly socialize your puppy with other dogs and people!

Location:  Oak Canyon Community Park 5600 Hollytree Dr. (first class meet at covered pavilion area). Requirements: proof of current vaccinations, including a current rabies certificate for puppies 4 months or older. Please also bring a leash and training treats. Natural Balance Food Rolls, sliced and cut into small pieces is recommended.
