Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District, and how to apply for a position.

Application Requirements

The following procedures apply to all applicants. To be considered for a position with the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District:

* An applicant must submit a fully completed R.S.R.P.D. Application and a Supplemental Questionnaire, signed and dated in ink. (See below for required forms, which are available for downloading.)

* An applicant must submit their completed application forms so they arrive at the District by the filing deadline indicated on the “Employment Opportunity.”

* A postmark date of mailing will not be accepted in lieu of receipt at District by filing deadline.

* When an Employment Opportunity indicates the position is “open until filled”, interested persons are advised to apply immediately, as certain positions fill quickly.

* A resume will not be accepted in lieu of submitting District application forms.

P/T LIFEGUARDS

P/TGROUNDSKEEPER I-GOLF COURSE

Care, maintenance, and landscaping needs of Simi Hills Golf Course including vehicles and equipment. One year related experience preferred. Position is 19-39 hours/week, flexible schedule, hours may vary and include weekends.  Valid California driver’s license and good driving record required.  Open until filled. P/T TRANSIT VAN DRIVER

P/T SPECIALIST INSTRUCTOR FOR TOTS AND/OR PARENT AND ME CLASSES

Seeking specialist instructor to teach morning/afternoon tots and/or Parent & Me classes.  Subjects include: cooking, arts and crafts or any other activity that promotes growth and knowledge, while still having fun. P/T ADULT SPORTS OFFICIAL WANTED

P/T DANCE INSTRUCTOR

P/T GOLF COURSE ASSISTANT—RANGE

Position is under direction of the Golf Course Manager/Head Golf Pro at Simi Hills Golf Course, or assigned staff.  Position serves members and guests by maintaining golf cart and range conditions and attending to golf bags.  Position also has responsibility for the care and maintenance of golf course facility and equipment.
