The use of the dog park is
a privilege, with inherent risks. In order to help reduce the
risk of injury to dogs and people, aggressive dogs are forbidden
from entering. Park Rule Number 8 specifically states:
"Aggressive dogs are not
allowed in the dog park. Dogs exhibiting aggressive behavior are
to be IMMEDIATELY removed from the park. An aggressive dog is
defined as any dog that is determined by the District to pose a
threat to dogs or people by virtue of a single incident or
history of unprovoked acts of aggression against people or
animals. The District reserves the right to prohibit any type of
breed of dog from entering the Dog Park."
You can help the Park
District enforce this rule. If you or your dog has been the
victim of an aggressive dog, or if you have witnessed an
aggressive dog in the park, please take a few minutes to
complete the form below. Note that you may also email pictures
to the email address below to be included with this information. Please know that although your complaint will
be taken seriously, you will not receive notification of any
action taken by the Park District. Thank you for your
